Gone are the days when folks were happy with toys that don't light up, beep or pulsate. This is a demanding age and you are demanding consumers. You don't just want a wooden top that only spins! Too prosaic and predictable! You want the i-Top. A hi-tech, spiffy, gizmo that will provide you endless hours of gratification of the geeky and gyrating variety.
Simply flip open the top, turn it on, select the game you want to play (some are single player, some are multi-player), then spin to win! Using the simple concept of our 'persistence of vision' - eight small LEDs lined up in a row, when spinning, give you the illusion of animated text and numbers. Some hi-tech sensors and circuitry will then give you real-time feedback and results as you play the games below:
Features six different modes or games, like:
* Light One - "Introduction" - Spin for a quick welcome animation!
* Light Two - "Top This" Game - Unlimited players. AIM: To see who can get the most spins! Spinning the i-Top will show you your current "increasing:" score on one side, and the current high score on the other. If a player beats the current high score, once the top becomes stationary indicator 6 will flash. Spin the i-Top again to review the last score. Press PLAY to start a new turn or new player. The player with the highest score wins!
* Light Three - "Match Top" Game - Unlimited players. AIM: To see who can get closest to the target number! Spin the i-Top to see the target number. Press PLAY to start a turn. Spin the i-Top to see the "increasing" count on one side and the target number on the other. Spin the top again to review the last score. Press PLAY again to start a new turn or new player. The player closest to the target number or who lands on the target number wins! Play continues until a player reaches the target number, or best of three spins per player.
* Light Four - "Top Speed" Game - Unlimited players. AIM: To see who can spin the i-Top fastest! Spin the i-Top to see your current RPMs calculated on one side and the current high speed on the other. Once the score is calculated, stop and spin the i-Top again to see your average speed. If a player beats the current high speed, once the top stops indicator 7 will flash. Spin the top again again to review the last speed. Press PLAY to start a new player or new turn. The player with the highest score wins!
* Light Five - "Mystic Top" Mode - Use the i-Top to help answer your questions! Ask the i-Top a "Yes" or "No" question. Spin the i-Top to see your answer! Think of it as a twenty-first century magic 8-ball.
* Light Six - "Top This" Hi-Score - Spin the i-Top to view the current high score for the "Top This" game. Press the PLAY button and spin the i-Top to clear the score.
* Light Seven - "Top Speed" Hi-Score - Spin the i-Top to view the current high speed for the "Top Speed" game. Press the PLAY button and spin the i-Top to clear the score.
* Light Eight - "Turn OFF"Spin the top to turn it off. Alternately, the top will also automatically turn off after 5 seconds of inactivity.
I-top Pro version is also available! This version extends the features above and includes a built-in LED screen so you can program your own LED Messages! Also included in the pro version are 3 entirely new games!
Uses 2 3-volt replaceable batteries (included and pre-installed). The i-Top is just about 3 inches in diameter and it folds for easy portability. Can you find the special hidden mode?

i-Top Electronic Spinning Top - HIDDEN MODES
As well as the normal four games, the i-Top has some hidden surprises.
To access these hidden features:
Press MODE button until the first LED is lit.
Hold down the PLAY and MODE buttons simultaneously for at least two seconds.
Release the PLAY and MODE buttons simultaneously.
The 8 LEDS should each light up in turn, and the first LED should now flash rapidly.
You can now display 7 new hidden features:
1. Compass mode
2. Pattern
3. Pattern
4. Pattern
5. UFO
6. Flower
7. Random number of lines
8. Displays LATER and then turns off
The compass mode seems to be an actual real compass that shows Magnetic North
