The proposed Micropercussion Marcators applies to a hard stylus, mounted on air cylinder, a vibration at high frequency and moves it continuously along freely programmable X and Y coordinates on the surface to be marked. The pin leaves on the material surface a series of microdots producing so the characters and designs required. This technique allows high-speed and permanent marking of any type of material (up to 80 HRC hardness). Main peculiarity of the system is such a high resolution allowing to create a continuous line which can normally only be achieved by using expensive laser units. The pneumatic allows marking on uneven surfaces with height differences of up to 12 mm.
