HOW IT WORKS:
The FANTAZEIN clock works on the principle of persistence of vision. The human eye continues to perceive an image for nearly 1/16th of a second after the image has disappeared.
Fantazein has a rapidly oscillating wand carrying tiny lights (LED’s) at its tip that creates the rare display. As the wand whips through space, the LED’s shimmer at megahertz speed so that you see their light but cannot see the wand. The result - you see a complete image magically suspended in midair! In addition, this virtual image flips, scrolls, fades, grows, and crumbles in all different directions completely puzzling the human mind about the device’s functioning.
The display and images are visible continuously round the clock without human intervention. The clock is whisper quiet. The precision-crafted patented mechanism of this marvelous timepiece is a clever fusion of the technologies of light, magnetism, electronics, motion, and computer software.
Power
The clock runs on the supplied adapter that plugs into the wall. Three-AAA size optional battery backup maintains time during power failures. (Neither batteries nor power is needed to retain messages.)
Clocks available for international voltages as well.
